Arrancar[]
Arrancars are hollows that ripped off their mask to evolve further and grow more powerful. They gain a humanoid form and a hollow mask to represent their former hollow form, as well as the ability to control reiatsu through a Cero. Arrancars can awaken and briefly return back to a hollow form using their "Resurreccion." They can also go further using their "Segunda Etapa." Depending on the form where they rip off their mask, the stronger they can be.
Arrancar Guide[]
To become an Arrancar, you'll need to rip off your mask as either a Menos, an Adjuchas, or a Vasto Lorde by pressing CTRL + K on PC/Console Keyboard and Mouse, Down DPad Arrow + Y/Triangle or Console, or pressing the Transform button on mobile. It is highly unrecommended to rip off your mask as a Menos Grande as it does not have many buffs, and you start at grade 5. If you're worried about not being able to become a Vastocar, you can always obtain 7 Hogyoku Fragments and consume them to become one. Note that different forms of Arrancar are set as different ranks when starting off. Menoscar are Grade 5, Adjucar are Grade 3 and Vastocar are Semi-Grade 2.
Arrancar Progression[]
To progress as an Arrancar, you'll need to do missions to grade up. Reroll your weapon and element to what you think is best or to fit your build. Make sure to learn the skill Flashstep and Soul Style as they're both free in the skill tree and are exceptionally helpful. When you reach Grade 2, you'll then need to focus on getting your Partial Resurreccion. You will also need to get your Kido Cero Path, which are the skills that say [GRADE 2] at the bottom (Cero Grab, Blade, Cornea, Finger and Tri-Cero) Remember, you can only choose one. You can reset it by using a Cero Pill, or if you are a Cero Variant True vastocar, you can pick two. Then, grind to Elite Grade. (Note that you need to be a Vastocar to obtain Segunda Etapa and must have already unlocked Full Resurreccion.)
Partial Resurreccion[]
Short version. For more information, see Resurreccion
Starting out you must complete missions until you reach Grade 2. You'll then need to talk to Harribel. Afterward, go to Espada Castle, then to the upstairs to the laboratory, and speak to the pink orb at the table. It'll give you an object depending on your Partial Element. Upon clicking it, you are teleported to an obby. When you complete this obby, click on the black orb and unlock Partial Resurreccion. There is no cooldown for the obby, so you can go straight back and retry it if you fail.
Full Resurreccion[]
Short version. For more info, see Resurreccion.
Stage 1: Getting Full Resurreccion is a long and depressing process, so be ready. First, you'll need to win a total of 13 raids. Clan Raids give you 2.5, and ranked matches give you 0.5 points. Note that Karakura Town Raids give no points whatsoever. You can check your progress at the NPC "V-Unequaled, Unrivaled" in an abandoned warehouse in Karakura Town.
Stage 2: You'll then need to get 50 Hollow NPC kills, 10 Elite Grade Grips, and 1 Bawabawa or Jidanbo kill (The worm boss in Hueco Mundo or the gatekeeper boss in Soul society.)
Stage 3: After completing all this, head back to Hueco Mundo and fall into the Menos Forest. Then go to a tree near the back of the forest and climb up it. You'll find a hole with a sword stuck into it. Meditate in front of this hole for 5 minutes to be teleported to a maze. This maze is the endgame. A Shadow Adjuchas will be chasing you. Upon contact, it'll insta kill you so beware. You'll need to find a hollow with blue eyes. Note that the closer you get to your hollow, the faster your Shadow Adjuchas will get. If your Shadow Adjuchas catches you, wait an hour or grip a player of an opposing faction (Quincy and Shinigami). When you find your inner hollow (For finding your hollow tips see Tips On Finding Your Hollow Full Res), talk to it. You will then enter a cutscene, and finally unlock your Resurreccion. Enjoy.

Types of Arrancar[]
Name | Obtainment | Description | Mask |
---|---|---|---|
Menoscar | CTRL+K as a Menos | A Menoscar is the weakest form of an Arrancar. It's not recommended to become a Menoscar due to it having poor buffs. Menoscars have long noses that exclude them from other arrancars. | |
Adjucar | CTRL+K as an Adjuchas | An adjuchar is the common variant of Arrancar. They have decent buffs, but not as good as Vastocar. Being an adjuchar isn't too bad. It's still strong and you can always level up to a Vastocar. They have different mask variants. | |
Vastocar | CTRL+K as a Vasto Lorde
Or 7 Hogyoku Fragments as an Menoscar or Adjuchar. |
Vastocar unlocks a new Cero "Cero Oscuras" (you can see more about this ability in the Arrancar Kido section below) | Same mask variants as Adjucar |
True Vastocar | After becoming a Vastocar you can use a True Hogyoku, doing this will immediately reset your character and you will become a True Vastocar. | True vastocar has 5 variants, Regen, Hierro, Proficiency, Cero and Dodge. Regen Restores HP and drains enemy Reiatsu while giving you a portion of theirs, Hierro gives a 15% Defense Boost and a 10% Damage Boost, and Dodge grants increased movement speed and an extra dodge which has 50 second cooldown. Proficiency replaces Hierro with Charges, which are gained by dealing damage to opponents and buff certain moves. Cero allows you to pick a second Cero Path and also buffs Cero Moves. | N/A |
